BA 364 International Business Research

This course prepares you for your future global career and for research tasks in your university courses!It takes an international/cross-cultural perspective to what constitutes “information” across cultures and introduces the key concepts, terminology, and strategies for conducting international business research.

Students conduct research in two (or more) languages and communicate their findings both orally and in writing to a US business audience, applying their knowledge of contrastive rhetoric across cultures. While developing knowledge of the language and concepts of a variety of research methods, the course will focus on conducting descriptive research and building research strategies using appropriate business resources in two or more languages. The packet includes readings that are rich with examples of the applicability of business research methods to everyday decision making in the workplace and will provide a valuable resource for students interested in pursuing further the field of international business research.
